Great news! Any three attendees* who register together qualify for the group discount. During registration, each attendee should provide the names of the other group members. To receive the discount, all course fees must be paid within 2–3 weeks of each other. It’s a great way to reconnect with former classmates or colleagues while earning your CEUs!
*Students do not qualify to receive the group discount due to the student discount.
Yes! Facilities and clinics may host the seminar privately for employees or open it to the public. Employee discounts are available. This is a great opportunity to provide hands-on, high-quality CEUs.
Absolutely. Athletic trainers and other medical professionals may self-submit the course for CEU approval to their respective licensing boards. All required documentation—including the course agenda, learning objectives, and schedule—can be provided to assist with the submission process. Many state licensing boards accept CEU approval from other states or recognized professional organizations. Please check with your licensing board to confirm credit acceptance.
Attendees must complete the online self-study pre-course prior to the live seminar. This includes all required modules and quizzes and typically takes approximately four hours, so please plan accordingly.
The live seminar involves taping the entire body (head to toe). Dressing in layers is recommended. Wearing shorts and a tank top underneath your clothing works well. Sports bras without multiple straps or racerback styles, or a regular bra, are preferred, as tight straps can interfere with taping. If you have long hair, please bring a hair tie or clip.
If you have excess body hair on the chest, back, arms, or legs, trimming prior to the seminar is recommended. Body hair can prevent tape from adhering properly and may be uncomfortable during removal.
Please avoid applying lotion prior to class, as it can prevent the tape from sticking and may be frustrating during lab activities. However, individuals with sensitive skin may choose to apply a light layer of lotion or aloe vera beforehand.
Be sure to bring sharp scissors to class. You may also find it helpful to bring a laptop or tablet to access your e-book during the course.
Not immediately. However, upon completion of the seminar, attendees may begin using Kinesio Taping in their practice and will be competent in applying the techniques.
Attendees are eligible to take the Kinesio Taping Association’s online certification exam to become a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner (CKTP) after successfully completing the seminar. Registration and payment for the certification exam ($99) are completed through the Kinesio Taping Association website. For additional details regarding the exam and maintaining credentials, please refer to the Kinesio Taping Association website.
Registration fee less $150, will be refunded if written cancellation is received 30 days prior to the seminar. No refunds will be given after that date.
In the event that the host must cancel the seminar, a full refund or credit toward attendance at subsequent seminar will be given. The host is not responsible for any expenses incurred by registrants due to adjustments or cancellations.
Every attempt will be made to offer the seminar as publicized, however, the host reserves the right to adjust program dates, location, times, facility, or instructor, etc. in order to accommodate for unexpected occurrences or insufficient enrollment.
CEU certificate will only be awarded upon full attendance/completion of seminar.
